Welcome to 2 Carrot Gem's rabbitry site. I am Katie Gostomski, the owner of this rabbitry, located in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. I am formerly the co-owner of Kingdom Lights rabbitry in Antioch, California. I moved to Wisconsin in 2006, and got out of rabbits when I moved. I had been raising rabbits for 6 years prior to my move, and have had many different breeds, including: Lionheads, English Spots, Mini Rex, Holland Lops, English Angoras, Rhinelanders, Fuzzy Lops, and of course, Netherland Dwarfs. I have decided to focus solely on the Netherlands in my new rabbitry though. They were my first breed, and I know them the best, plus they are my favorite :)
I've gotten some very nice foundation stock so far from some well known breeders all over the country! Thank you to Cole Simons, Tim Reese & Donelle Bomben, Jason Coin & Kenny Nelson, Everett Hopper, Wade Burkhalter and Doug & Molly Covert for the amazing rabbits they sold me!
I would like to make my focus mainly on Otter, Blue, Chestnut, Opal, and REW. Although, I have always had a soft spot for the "rare" colors, so we will see what I end up with... ;) Thank you for visiting and hope to see you at a show!
